Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

1. Who we are

SpendChime provides SaaS price-change monitoring. For any privacy question, contact hello@spendchime.com. We are the data controller for the personal data described below.

2. Data we collect

  • Your email address and account credentials (passwords are hashed by our auth provider — we never see them).
  • The tools you choose to watch and the seat counts you enter.
  • Billing details, handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card number.
  • Basic technical logs (e.g. request metadata) for security and reliability.

3. How we use it

To provide the Service (monitoring and alerts), send transactional and digest emails, process subscriptions, secure the Service, and improve it. We do not sell your personal data or use it for third-party advertising.

4. Legal bases (UK/EU GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), for our legitimate interests (securing and improving the Service), and where required, with your consent.

5. Processors we use

We share data only with service providers who process it on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication, EU region), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare (DNS/CDN). Our scraping and classification providers (Firecrawl and Anthropic) only ever process the public pricing pages we monitor — never your personal data.

6. Cookies

We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

7. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account or ask us to delete your data, we will remove it, except where we must retain records to meet legal obligations.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, email hello@spendchime.com. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

9. International transfers

Your account data is stored in the EU. Some processors may process data outside the UK/EU under appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses).

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date above when we do.
